Mentoring at Drama In Mind

Many children and young people feel overwhelmed by the challenges they face every day—some more than others. That’s why our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Lucille, is passionate about supporting the young people she works with. Over many years, Lucille has gained extensive experience working with children and youth across schools, youth clubs, residential and semi-independent units, performing arts projects, and more. She brings a wealth of knowledge and an approachable, compassionate manner that helps young people feel supported and understood. Many stay in touch long after their mentoring sessions have ended with her.

At Drama In Mind, we offer 1:1 (one-to-one) or group mentoring, both face-to-face and online. Sessions usually take place during term time, but can also be arranged during school holidays.

Each session lasts up to one hour, or can be tailored to the needs of the young person.

Our Mentoring Sessions Can Cover Topics such as:

  • Low self-esteem

  • Lack of confidence

  • Aspirational goals

  • F.O.M.O. (Fear of Missing Out)

  • Friendship and communication

  • Setting boundaries with confidence

  • Self-worth

  • Anxiety

We provide a variety of mentoring packages, including funded sessions or paid sessions on a regular or ad-hoc basis, so please enquire for details.
